Classes Resume August 1st!
Covid-19 has changed all of our lives forever and your safety is our top priority. We have all endured so much, have overcome so much, but based on the guidance of Governor Newsom and Mayor Breed we are finally ready to welcome you back into our salt studio. In order to keep us all safe we will be adhering to the guidelines listed below that are similar in nature to what has become our new norm.
Smaller Class Sizes
Current class sizes will be significantly limited, so mats can stay spaced out and compliant with current social distance and local guidelines. Think of our updated classes as semi-privates, with more attention from our amazing teachers, but please be sure to book well enough in advance to ensure your spot.
30 Minutes Between Classes & Salt Therapy Sessions
We have added at least 30 minutes between classes to carefully turn over the studio, sanitize all surfaces and disinfect the space. And on a daily basis, we’ll be sterilizing our studio with both professional cleaning products and state of the art infrared lights.
Self Health Check
Pause and give yourself a health check. If you feel even slightly unwell, please please please stay home. If any yogi appears to be exhibiting symptoms, we will ask them to leave the studio to ensure the safest space possible for our students and team members. And if you’re working with a compromised immune system or are a member of the at-risk population, please refrain from visiting our studios for your own safety.
To limit studio crowding and social interactions with our team members, you must reserve your spot prior to class. Walk-ins are temporarily on hold. Please reserve your spot before class by using the Breathe Salt Yoga app or our website.
It’s BYOE at BSY. That means Bring Your Own Everything. Mats, props, and blankets will no longer be available to borrow or rent, so be sure to bring everything you need to have a great class.
Credit Card Payment Only
Please note: cash will temporarily not be accepted, and purchases should be made using your credit card on file. To ensure cleanliness, trying on clothing will temporarily not be permitted and all sales will be final. We suggest you take note of your size in your favorite brands so you can pick up some great gear to keep you flowing in style.
In some cases, your temperature may be taken prior to entering the studio to provide the safest possible environment for you and your fellow yogis to practice. Our team members will have their temperature checked before every shift.
Namaste 6ft Away
We can’t wait to get hugs back into our studios, but for now please maintain at least 6 feet of distance between you, your fellow yogis, and teachers at all times.
Designated Mat Placement
Please use the mat placement floor markers we’ve carefully measured to ensure a proper distance from fellow yogis while inside our practice rooms.
Bring Your Own Props
Bring your own props and thoroughly clean them with our supply of CDC-compliant disinfecting products. And don’t forget to avoid sharing them with others. Don't have props? Not to worry as you can purchase them from us through our new Strategic Partner Alliance with Lululemon!
Masks Are Required
In line with San Francisco requirements wearing a mask is required while you practice. While it’s not ieal, wearing a mask may help stop the spread of unwanted germs.
As much as we love a good assist, for the time being hands-on adjustments from our teachers will not be offered in any Breathe Salt Yoga class.
Salt Therapy Room
All salt therapy sessions will be restricted to members of the same family or group. Reservations will be required and all sessions will have a minimum of 30 minutes between them to allow for thorough cleaning.
Our sanitation stations can be used for safe and easy disinfecting throughout your studio visit.
Shower At Home
Sorry, yogis! You’ll have to skip the showers this time. To help limit shared surface contact, studio showers are unavailable, but you can use our restrooms or sinks at any time.
We know socializing after class is a big part of our community, and we all miss spending time with our fellow yogis. But for now, please refrain from gathering with classmates following your practice. Instead promptly leave the studio to limit any close interactions and maximize our team’s time to clean.
We are so excited to welcome you back into our studio and to have you flowing in your favorite yoga classes and enjoying our salt therapy room again. We’re fully committed to making your time with us safe for everyone, so THANK YOU for doing your part to help keep us all safe.
